Well this week after a long wait I got hold of the parts for my Silma 20b Over-Under and set about replacing the part and getting it working properley again.
I started last night, and messed up more than a couple of times before going out to dinner with my other half and leaving it. Today I left work early because I figured out in my head how to fix it and wanted to get back and get it done.

I need to get out to the range with it, it'll be Sunday now, but I have high hopes. It ejects, and both the hammers seem to fall at the right time when pulling the trigger on Snap Caps.

I reckon I quite like this gunsmithing malarky!

Managed to get to the range today.

Worked pretty well, needs a little bit of polishing on the extractor pin - when freshly oiled it works everytime, but after 10 cycles it works 5 out of 6 times the 6th time the extractor stocks back until the action starts to close...

D'oh.

More fettling!
