Whatever you do, do not mix headstamps as it will open the groups alarmingly. Stick to the same brass from the same manufacturer, shot with similar loads for a similar number of times.
Although I may be telling you something you already know?

I've never found that to be the case with target loads at 25m. 3.2gr Zero powder and 158gr boolits in any case group nicely for me.George G wrote:Whatever you do, do not mix headstamps as it will open the groups alarmingly. Hi Jack, weclome!
Why not introduce your self on the new members forum.
I'd pull that ammunition and reload it.
I think it bad practice to shoot someone else's handloads, not something I would do.
Concur with the mixed headstamps making no appreciable difference with this cartridge at short ranges.

Re: Reloading .357magnum and .38special
The OP talks of shooting out to 200m,i assume it's this sort of distance that George is meaning i don't know i've never shot shot that far with a pistol calibre.
Re: Reloading .357magnum and .38special
Relistcally 200m is pushing it best case with a pistol cal anyway.

When guns are outlawed, only Outlaws will have guns

My copy is a little older.
It's one of the hardback ones.
Almost mint condition...apart from the photo glued inside it.
....the photo of Elmer signing the book that the photo is now glued into...
