Im going to be target shooting from distances from 25m up to 200m

Just interested to see what other people load there rounds too and all the different loads I can try out

Thanks Jack

Whatever you do, do not mix headstamps as it will open the groups alarmingly. Stick to the same brass from the same manufacturer, shot with similar loads for a similar number of times.

Although I may be telling you something you already know?

I've never found that to be the case with target loads at 25m. 3.2gr Zero powder and 158gr boolits in any case group nicely for me.
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.
All round good guy and VERY grumpy old man.

Hi Jack, weclome!

Why not introduce your self on the new members forum.

I'd pull that ammunition and reload it.

I think it bad practice to shoot someone else's handloads, not something I would do.

Concur with the mixed headstamps making no appreciable difference with this cartridge at short ranges.

Bargain...though I never realised it was in print again.

My copy is a little older.
It's one of the hardback ones.
Almost mint condition...apart from the photo glued inside it.

....the photo of Elmer signing the book that the photo is now glued into... shakeshout
