is it legal
Hi I have some surplus 308 ammunition due to change of calibre.is it legal for me to sell them to someone with a valid fac and 308 slot.Im not a Rfd .just looking to get them away
Re: is it legal
No.
Depends how many rounds there are, you could pull the bullets & let them buy the disassembled rounds/use your press to reseat the bullets.
ETA... above applies to your own reloads. Factory or military stuff....flog away.

Re: is it legal
So If i bought any surplus rounds off a fellow shooter surely they would have to be entered onto my ticket ?
Re: is it legal
Yes. Same as a surplus rifle would be entered.....it's part of the conditions of an FAC.ellmerfudd wrote:So If i bought any surplus rounds off a fellow shooter surely they would have to be entered onto my ticket ?
Re: is it legal
I know that all ammunition has to be entered onto my certificate but What i meant was i thought it had to be an RFD that stamped my certificate with the ammunition purchased and i didnt think that another FAC holder could put it onto my ticket

Re: is it legal
An RFD would do it. ...but only IF they're the person selling you the ammunition.
If it's another FAC holder then they do the filling in on your FAC

Re: is it legal
They don't enter .22lr ammunition sold at our range on your FAC, if you have one, as long as its used there and not taken away.

Re: is it legal
Which is the correct procedure, providing you use it all there. Personally i'd get them to write it on anyway if they weren't too busy as its 'evidence' to the FLD that you're using your guns.Marmite5 wrote:They don't enter .22lr ammunition sold at our range on your FAC, if you have one, as long as its used there and not taken away.
