No.32 Mk1 scope

#1 Post by reiver xxv »

Hi
How much is a No.32 Mk 1 scope worth ? It's in good overall condition with clear glass. It has no mounts.
Thanks

The only way to find out is to auction it with a hefty reserve. Check the Gavin Gardiner website for 'Prices Realised' Check E bay for 'Sold items' Try e mailing Holts.

Thanks for the advice, Saddler the trade gun is going well and I've shot a few grey squirrels using it with shot. It groups not too badly at fifty yards with a thick patch, more investigations required. If you are still interested in the No.32 pm me an offer. Still undecided about the Swede, seen a beauty of a Lee waiting word back from the seller.

Last one I saw sold on Evilbay a couple of weeks ago for £755. Bare scope, claimed all working, no bracket.

There's less demand for Mk1's as most folk with No4Ts looking for scopes have 1944 or 1945 rifles , so Mk11's or Mk111's are correct for those years and so more sought after.

Helston's have a couple of Mk1s for sale on their website at £1600 (!!!) but I think they've had them for years and not sold - I wonder why?
