SMLE Advice please

#1 Post by simong »

Evening peeps,

I've bought a 1910 SMLE ( numbers matching, cutoff, volley sight etc....) but am having a problem picking up the sight picture ( only have one eye and that is a bit variable !)
Does anybody know if there is a "no gunsmith" rear aperture sight for these fine beasts ?

Thanks in advance

The AG Parker or Parker Hale rearsight fits to the rear of the receiver & will give you an aperture & longer eye relief

You'll be looking for a Parker Hale model 5 then or Aussie Mues(?) rearsight.

Fit on with extended screws to the safety and trigger guard. Classic fitment.
