Can you not use a virtual machine to run a version of windows in linux.
VMware player is a popular one used for running vitual machines using microsoft operating systems.

Yes I could run up a VM in Linux. VirtualBox has a good reputation and is free to download. I have the RAM and this is a 64bit machine so I have no excuses

I have had a quick look this morning. When I downloaded it I appear to have been given the unlocking code free of charge, perhaps it has a time lock function?
It requires a lot of information to be inputted, think it may be more than a "get on target" program, it does make reference to working out bullet stability.

I pretty much concur with DM, it does require a lot of information - the Interior Balistics programme even more so.
I went back into it and found this.
This is a demo version of program "Exterior Ballistics". Velocity
in the demo is set to 555 m/s and can not be changed. Full version
is activated by the file "key" in the program’s directory. Price
of full version is not set yet, please email me at
balistika@seznam.cz.
Program is intended for private use only. For commercial use
or advertisement in the program please email me at
balistika@seznam.cz.
Program is protected by Copyright Act, illegal modification
or distribution of keys is forbidden.
Program was created in free development environment
Turbo C++ Explorer, ww.turboexplorer.com.
So it seems this is a demo version.

555m/sec or 1820fps is not going to suit many of us.... Ah well it was worth a look :)
