Can you not use a virtual machine to run a version of windows in linux.
VMware player is a popular one used for running vitual machines using microsoft operating systems.

Re: Ballistic Apps
Yes I could run up a VM in Linux. VirtualBox has a good reputation and is free to download. I have the RAM and this is a 64bit machine so I have no excuses

Re: Ballistic Apps
I have had a quick look this morning. When I downloaded it I appear to have been given the unlocking code free of charge, perhaps it has a time lock function?
It requires a lot of information to be inputted, think it may be more than a "get on target" program, it does make reference to working out bullet stability.

I pretty much concur with DM, it does require a lot of information - the Interior Balistics programme even more so.Dangermouse wrote:I have had a quick look this morning. When I downloaded it I appear to have been given the unlocking code free of charge, perhaps it has a time lock function?

Re: Ballistic Apps
555m/sec or 1820fps is not going to suit many of us.... Ah well it was worth a look :)
