Wonder what's gone on there then?

I think I'll wait a bit before putting my variation in.

Good job I got my variation recently sorted.

Take a seat Bam Bam. I'll regale you with a tale of lying, incompetence and down right f***. A couple of years back the woman in charge of the data deleted all the database data on firearms. The police then sent out forms saying they were doing an "Audit", the legal advice BASC lawyers gave was that it was not legally required to fill them in. After a while South Yorkshire police caved in and admitted what they'd done, the woman mentioned was sacked, some people filled in. Others were supposed to get visits (good look visiting all them).BamBam wrote:I think I'll wait a bit before putting my variation in.

Then was the issue I had myself. I'd rather not talk about it as its a bit too personal. Does that clear things up or was Saddler referring to a different Cluster?

Yep, a rogue firearms licensing employee who couldn't cope with the job kept quiet and failed to input variations, acquisitions or disposals onto the National Firearms Licensing Management System. If I remember rightly from writing this (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/07/01 ... _firearms/) she destroyed shooters' submitted paperwork to cover her tracks.Sixshot6 wrote:Take a seat Bam Bam. Re: Greater Manchester Police to review 11000 FAC holders
Having dealt with lots of FEOs & admin staff over some 32 years, I think that's very insulting. ...to monkeys.
