Police Scotland - SGC holders - recent changes
New development
Police Scotland are now adhering more closely to Home Office Guidelines...so as of last week, spare shotgun barrels are no longer listed as a separate entity on Shotgun Certificates.
If sold/transferred, they can be mailed direct to the new owner using whatever means you choose.

I've been told in the past "we don't take any notice of the Home Office Guidance to Police..." (as in, we're better than that...)

Possibly/probably/not a bloody scooby
What barrel are you after?
This applies to Shotgun Certificate transfers...thought all smoothbores were on FAC in N. I.?
(In which case different criteria)
Gotta love UK laws. So easy to follow....

I'm firmly on the Mainland now. Have been for a while. :-)
Nothing in particular at the moment. I like to know things beforehand.

This change could come in handy as i have a slot on my FAC for a spare barrel for my mossberg 500.So when i find one i can get it via my SGC and then transfer it to my FAC.
