I am wanting to make an authentic looking sling for a musket , I have a new length of leather strap which is a tan colour but want to dye it a dark brown what would be the best product for this .

Saddler will be the man to ask but for all my Falconry hoods I use Fiebing's and it is high quality dye.

Fiebings dye's come in many types
For years I used the alcohol based ones. Then bumped into someone getting much better results with their oil based versions.
Never looked back & use the oil ones now, if at all possible
They sell them in quite small bottles....just a case of deciding what colour you want
OR
For the price of posting it each way, mail it to me & I'll dye it for you - and add some Broad Arrow stamps - then send it back
