Bonjour fullborers

I live in France and I have just joined my local club and am in the process of choosing my first firearm.I am leaning strongly towards the aquisition of a Lee Enfield.
Hopefully the forum will enable members based in France to discuss the relative obstacles that firearm ownership poses over here. thankssign

Which model of Lee Enfield might you be looking to get?

And what is gun ownership like in France? I know you have some odd categorisations of calibres which mean some can't be used. What does the licensing procedure involve?
