The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

Sad if it's a live one!

A retired police officer friend of mine said of the last amnesty he was involved in that most of the stuff handed in were either shotguns, or firearms which had already been deactivated.

It would be a loss to history if that long lee was destroyed.
In the past i feel Staffs have had a positive attitude towards heritage firearms, 2 years ago they donated a handed in SMLE and k98 to an approved military museum. Hopefully this one will escape the furnace.

Strange old mix! Bulk look to be air guns. Love to go through that pile and see how many working firearms this has really taken off "the street"

Sadly just to the left of it and one down that rifle looks like a SMLE if I'm not mistaken. Damn waste of good rifles.

That gun amnesty photo favourite, the ubiquitous G10 repeater getting pride of place, front & centre again... 8-)

Anyone local who could contact them and ask if there's anything they can do?

Anyone recognise the black handgun in the middle with a white sticker on top?

It has an odd shape with that backend.
