UKIP Firearms Policy

#1 Post by huntervixen »

Afternoon all,

Just a thought....dangerous I know.....Why dont we all contact UKIP and drag a firearms policy statement out of them, they evasive with me so far..

http://www.ukip.org/contact

They can't ignore all of us and I do feel we need to know their exact stance as the election is rapidly approaching, if they haven't got one....why the hell not !

probably better if we all put in our own words...or they will think a sneaky "Gaz" is behind it!!

A simple...."As a prospective UKIP voter in the coming general election and an FAC/SGC holder, please detail your exact policy on private firearm ownership".... type thing will do nicely.

Offer them a policy, oomans. State that as a firearms owner you are tired of the duplicitous efforts of the established parties and suggest what you think would be a fair and reasonable policy, balancing the rights of the individual with the safety of the state, and then get them to say 'aye' or 'nay'

They were pro, but came in for some flak particularly aboout their then attitude to firearms. I cant see any definative answer being given... Too close to the by-election and the general election...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

They won't reply with anything other than 'no changes planned'. I pressed them on it publicly a while back.

Let's get them elected first and we can remind them of their support of liberty later. smile2
