I have just been reading up on the .223 cartridge and remember that Vince said that Laurie was doing a lot of work with them and had a couple of good results in the F/TR section.
Has Laurie written about his exploits yet?
Apologies if it has been covered in the excellent Target Shooter magazine, I am afraid that I just can not get on with reading it and when I do sit down to open it, it is a one off visit.

Yes DM is was written up in detail for Target Shooter a few issues ago.
If you don't like reading it on your desktop, why not treat yourself to an iPad or similar?

Hopefully Laurie will pick this thread up when he visits next. .223 at 1000 yards is certainly doable, I was talking to Dougie L at Newark a couple of years ago and he also seems to get on with .223's at 900-1000 yards quite well.Dangermouse wrote:I have just been reading up on the .223 cartridge and remember that Vince said that Laurie was doing a lot of work with them and had a couple of good results in the F/TR section.

I also struggle with Target Shooter as an online medium and always download it as a Pdf file instead which makes life a bit easier. It is worth persevering as it always has some good articles and even better they are all archived so you can always go back and look for something.

It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!
Re: .223 for F Class
I save them to my desktop but you can also go back and grab every month ever published. Go to http://www.targetshooter.co.uk/ and click the Blue button 'Download a PDF format for MAC users' - It is just a Pdf so can be viewed on Windows and Linux operating systems as well.
