Re: Solid reloading benches
Hi all
I have been in contact with the people in the link and they would need some info. So any feed back on a design would help. Send me a message and I will send you my email address and then pass your design onto them and get some prices.
Hi Andy,
Many thanks for your message, glad you like what we do.
I'm sure we could make up a workbench for you...do you have an idea of the kind of design you are after?
Kind regards,
Marty

Link working
Given the sales blurb, they're not going to be cheap
Scaffolding planks make a good basis for a bench once cleaned up/sanded - or a few timber joists butted together
Be interesting to see what their prices are though

Looking on their ebay shop they are around £550-ish for a decent sized table/bench

What would you say would be a good price a shooter would pay for a good quality made bench as seen on there web site.
Remembering we shooters spend thousands on rifles/ scopes etc. so why not spend on a good quality bench you may spend hours at a time making ammo up.

I went cheap, got a nice Ikea Saljan worktop (3.8cm thick and 25yr guarantee) sat it on two drawer units with a large steel supporting leg next to where the presses mount, absolutely rock solid (I know cos I jumped on it to test it!)

Are you sure? They need to be a very small outfit to be VAT exempt.
