I was in the machine shop to day talking to one of the Guys about a piece of kit I want making to carry out a trial. I had hold of a drawing. I looked for some were to put it down so I could discuss it with him. I noticed on his work bench was what looked like a pile of house bricks only they were painted white. I tried to pick one up with a view to moving them I was shocked by the weight of them. You will have a job picking them up he said they are pure lead. The customer provides him with the lead blocks to machine apparently. Guess who is getting the off cuts up to now he has been throwing them in the scrap bin. I hope it is a big job and goes on for some time.
