Was looking at the Northern Optic and came across this

http://www.northern-optics.co.uk/LBR_REVOLVERS.html

TAURUS LONG BARRELED REVOLVERS
NOW BACK IN STOCK!!!

All revolvers are in Matt Stainless,12 Inch barrels with ventilated ribs and permanently fixed wrist brace, exceeding 60 cm overall length. These revolvers are nicely balanced, often lighter in weight than a six inch barrelled revolver with a full under lug. The 12” barrel with short under lug gives a most excellent weight & balance, with a great open sight base and sight picture.

Adjustable Trigger Stop
Adjustable Main Spring.
Optional Taurus scope rails (Weaver style)
Rimfire 22 LR,
Centerfire 357 Magnum, 44 Magnum,
TAURUS LONG BARRELLED REVOLVER
PRICE
RIMFIRE CALIBRES
£350
CENTERFIRE CALIBRES
£800

I am in no way connected to this company but I thought it relevant.

Bye for now

Its a firm called Merkle Tuning.

They will work on almost anything you might want in a UK legal S&W, but not for £1800. Last I heard, delivery time were 12-18 months.

Used to own a Taurus, it was the nearest thing I have seen to a revolver without actually being one.

how much for the S&W? Merkle tuning website is in german! I've already got a taurus but looking to upgrade to a smith if i get the opportunity. However I still saving up for the midway uk self unloading long barrel pistol if it ever gets passed by the Home office and acpo

The Smith from merkle is about £3k.
I asked one of the owners at my club last sunday.
He also said that didn't include the flights etc going over there for a "fitting".
