This is threaded for 1/2 x 28 thread barrels (standard on most AR-15 types) and is a cosmetic upgrade for a rifle, giving a 'suppressed' look without adding length (the CAR-1 threads onto the barrel end and shrouds back, therefore not adding any length to the rifle/barrel that it's installed on).
The shroud will cover approx 5.5" of barrel and has an internal diameter of approx 3/4" to accommodate the barrel it's fitted on.
This is not a functional suppressor and is for looks (and a bit of barrel weight to counter muzzle flip) only tongueout
