#1 Post by UKYankee »

Afternoon all,

I was thinking about getting a Vortex Crosfire scope but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with them.

We could ring up the Somersett and Gloucestersettshire setts and ask what they think...

I actually had a look through a couple today. As a dyed in the wool Leupold fan, I was very impressed. PM techguy on here, I believe he has a handle on where to get them from.....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Are they not available from Riflecraft?

Just bought a second Viper 6.5-20 x 50 V-plex wide..............really nice to use, with sensible weight, clear markings, and excellent glass.

I own a Viper PST 4-16 FFP EBR-1 MRAD. My experience with the scope has been entirely positive, as have my dealings with Riflecraft whom I bought it from. I'd argue that the whole Vortex range represents excellent value for money, both in terms of quality and features. Vortex's warranty is truly fantastic as well; no quibble, fully transferable (no proof of purchase required) and covers both mechanical failure and, amazingly, accidental damage.
