You got it just in time! As soon as I got back from the post office, we had a lighten strike. It fried our router, two pcs, and both of our phone lines! All we have at the mo is a Mobil with a very dodgy connection.... :(

Makes a change for me -- usually I get the sh-tty end of the stick ;¬) However , compared to the old crappy Remmy one it's a Rolls Royce , didn't set it up just put it in .Magic !
Insurance jobby for router etc ? I had that 2 years ago , we are a bit out in the sticks and we got a good 'un .It blew the case off the PC and fried all wiring and phones ,'orrible smell of burning electrics and stuff. Insurance bloke came round and looked and reckoned we we were lucky ! The telephone pole had been destroyed and the 3 farms suppied from it were all the same except one just up the road had a small fire , curtains bythe phone junction box had caught fire and the farmers wife threw a bucket of water on it ! She got a belt from the 13amp plug next to it.

We got a rewire and new PC and router etc .
Dodgy stuff lightning .
