Hi

I may help to be a bit more precise as to what kind of target shooting you're looking at doing, the many different disciplines require different approaches

Art of the Rifle, Jeff Cooper.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

A Guide to Target Rifle Shooting by Harry Thompson

If you're into full on target rifle this is a perfect book. It's a bit of a home made publication so you won't find it on Amazon but if you're at Bisley Fultons may have a copy.

Nancy Tompkin’s new book is available, this is her second. The first came out in 2006. She has many years of experience, national records and national championships. She has won the Leach Cup at Perry several times. The book covers iron sights, F-Class, scopes, wind reading and mental performance. Her husband Mid who also is a legendary shooter writes about loading and equipment in some chapters. And this one is hard back and in color. To order her book you can go to http://www.rifleshootingbynancy.com and there is even a option to have the book signed by Nancy with a personal comment.

Thanks Chaps
I'll have a look at these titles.
I don't really know what direction i am heading as yet. I have a few ideas where i would like to go but most of the books i have found seem to be more geared towards hunting.

It sounds an obvious response, but have you had a look in this forums library section? There is a quite a good selection in there.
Happy reading.

E books are ok but its a bugger putting PDF files on the book case! Besides it nice to have a physical book to make notes in for future reference
