Does anyone know of (or have) any ready made spreadsheets for keeping track of your shooting performance ? ie where your shots are going? are you improving ? graphs etc ?
Sorry for the nubies question ... i've tried making my own but its been 10 years or so since i used excel in anger ! sign85

Its probably a very personal thing to each user, as it depends on what exactly you record at the range, and what discipline you shoot etc. It will also vary depending on what you wish to gain.
Do you simply want to record stage scores for each range and then plot the regression looking for trends (improvement etc) or do you want to record external variables (weather, wind speed/direction temperature, load etc) and then integrate poor scores against those variables to see where you suffer most (i.e. wind at 1000 yards, or maybe you do poorly in the cold but excel in the rain, load doesn't suit warm weather etc).
I'm sure if there is nothing out there already then it wouldn't be too difficult to create something which can be slowly added to as you find a new output to assess. Were you quite proficient in excel the last time you used it, there are several new functions in newer versions which I keep on discovering (thank you Google!) which often help simplify things which used to take 3 or 4 steps in older versions.
