I am struggling to find a supply of 125grain .311 bullets for my 7.62x39 I have some 170grain .311 I was wondering if I could develop a load using this weight of bullet. Any thoughts on the subject.
The maximum distance I will use it over is 300yards.

Dave I am assuming it is condom bullets that you are after, if so are you sure its 0.311" you need?
Will 0.308" not do? Have you slugged the barrel?

I think I have a part used box of some S&B around the 123-125 weight. Someone asked me for a handful as samples and the rest of the box is probably still on the shelf.
