3 Carbines

#1 Post by Sandgroper »

I acquired my latest carbine just before New Year (Thanks Adam :good: ) It's a Carcano M91/28 TS (6.5x52mm), previously owned by Joe (jjvc) who has posted pictures of it before http://www.full-bore.co.uk/viewtopic.ph ... it=carcano

Not the best of pictures, sorry, but here it is flanked my other two carbines Top - Destroyer Carbine in 9mm Largo, Bottom - M95 Steyr in 8x56R

Really forward to making some more boolits for it and giving it a whirl. Like the Steyr, I just need the bayonet and some more en-bloc clips for it.

Thanks. I've just, today, managed to acquire another 9 clips for the Steyr which will give me 17 in total!

The Carcano handles really well and has a nice solid feel to it and if it shoots half as well as the Steyr I'll be happy.

Although the Destroyer is on my FAC, my son shoots it more often than me. I seem to be weaning off it by tempting him with my Marlin 989M2 (M1 Carbine look alike) :shakeshout:

The clips for the Steyr are coming from Bulgaria and I've bought from him before but his stock is drying up :bad: so I got in while I could. Bit of a hassle because fleabayUK pulls his listings for the clips (firearm paranoia!) so we had to get our timings right.

Just picked up 6 clips for the Carcano from fleabay, I think I snuck in before the listing was pulled! :shakeshout:
