What 'scope rings?
I picked up a Nightforce 12-42 BR mounted with a set of 30mm Warne rings a while ago for my 7mm. Everything works well for me and the only problem I can see with the rings is they split vertically which means they are slightly more awkward to fit, however they have been on for a few months and seem fine
I have noticed a few people have pulled a face when they spot the Warne rings and asked if I have plans to upgrade them, sooo any views on Warne rings, and if I was to replace them what should I go for?

If its not broken don't try and fix it, sounds like they are starting to bed in nice.

The best you can afford would be my answer. Not much point putting a £1500 quid scope on a rifle with mounts and rings made by Tom And Jerry.

Ovenpaa,
I've never been a big fan of vertically split rings - means you can't lap 'em in.
There are lots of great rings about but they don't come much better than Third Eye Tactical. Made in the UK (Yorkshire) on CNC machines by a shooter and come in black, silver, tactical green 30mm or one inch. Stuart (Osprey Rifles) will advise. He usually keeps a few sets in stock.
Cheers

Dolphin Gun Co do a set of lapped horizontally split rings for £65 which seems brilliant value. Fancy a set myself.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Or speak to Craig at TET themselves. Very helpful chap.
Re: What 'scope rings?
I know of Third Eye, very nice stuff, my preference is one piece mounts usually and I am quite undecided on what to do right now :)
Re: What 'scope rings?
Got Warnes on four of my rifles, no complaints.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Got 2 sets of Warne Quick Detachables and 1 fixed Warne set, never had a problem so don't see a need to "upgrade"
