If it went from say,0.40 to 0.60 I would be interested.
Lee already make a die for the "smaller" sizes!

Was only in the 'not buying' category, recycling some gear and making it for the hell of it plus being a tight git helps!

I prefer the stepped expander style like the Lyman "M" die rather than the tapered expanders for cast.

I have the spuds made to fit the case/chamber and bullet.

It's a great piece of lathe work, regardless of personal preference. Now get your a.r.s.e. Up here and teach my 6th years because the guy I have is a numpty! All qualification and absolute zero experience or common sense.
I'll expect mine in the post.

I have the Lee version not overly impressed with it. I tend to use Lyman M dies.

Did look at some calibre specific à la Lyman 'M' dies.
I ultimately went for the 'shallow' taper plug as it was a little less aggressive on the case mouth.
The plug barely 'kisses' the case mouth - just enough that a bullet will sit without tipping.

This is an example of what I didn't like...

The 'step' is working the case mouth too much for me!

What would you charge to make such a die Joe?
I have Lee die but find it is really too short when expanding the necks on 9.3x74r cases. I land up with the die holding on to the press by only a couple of threads and me having to hold back so that the case only just contacts the taper. Obviously Lee makes these universal dies mainly for shorter cases. I did mention in an email to Lee about the problem but they didn't seem interested.

Chapuis - you have PM

Here is a photo that I have just taken, I was trying to show the flare but it is so slight that it is barely perceptible.
Both cases are flared. You can truly feel the flare when you bung a bullet on the case mouth!
