Like I said Chuck, if he wants to see what is wrong with UK shooting. He should go look in the mirror?

This. I can, most of the time, get your usual 'cute-animals' anti-gunner to accept that things like practical shotgun or target sports are fine. But big game hunting just riles them right up.

Little old me. Raised one too many polite points that Mr Yardley didn't want to hear and couldn't defeat about how anything but cohesion damaged shooting as a whole.
So much for his commitment to free speech!

Sounds like his idea of Free speech and most others are two different things then?

Countryman: Oh I see, so it's only freedom of speech when you agree with his ramblings then? Sounds a familiar trait amongst his ilk.

I was actually talking to a well known RFD about Yardley after some other discussions and I mentioned it and he's (and other dealers) seem to be aware of his ramblings. He thought he was foolish then I mentioned the Charlie Hebdo thing and he became disgusted, since they all talk.... he's going to possibly end up a laughing stock of the gun trade association before long. L
My suggestion is we rename him Hanoi Mike from now on.

He has some very strange points of view and his followers are equally as odd, blindly following whatever he says.

He's now confirmed that action type shooting has no place in the UK. Timely emails to the publications he still writes for advising that he doesn't support all aspects of UK shooting might be on the cards.

I was first thinking Hanoi Mike due to him being as bad as an anti but with that kind of cult following, maybe we could call him Mike Jones and he could have his tweed wearing (and only clay busting and doing mediocre stalking) village with him and his followers.

So he thinks one of the life bloods of uk shooting has no place then? What an utter rancid t*@t he is. Which publications does he write for that we should get in touch with besides gun mart?
Is someone going to do a template letter with some links we can use to make realize he's a danger to them? Also anyone got any email addresses to send to for gunmart?
I actually saw him drag terrorism into things, hello Mick Full autos are illegal in France but the people who gunned down the Charlie Hebdo office's had no problem getting them and a rocket launcher to boot.
