Apparently it's Wathgil 6c (wherever that is)but the OP neglected to say where it is located but I presume it's is up north somewhere. But then you only ever get half the info from the OP.

Just for even handedness can we refer to Bisley, Surrey in future then.

I always do Dromia so as not to confuse it with Bisley in Gloucestershire which is far more local to me and better known in these parts.

Wont it eventually effect the entire range complex at Catterick, as I understand it when this is rolled out across the entire UK every range with the new iPad/tablet controlled target system will be off limits to civilians. Stick in targets only.
I was told that we would break it and that the MOD did not want us shooting at human shaped targets. That was from the Major in charge of the local range to me.
What's the 100 yard stick in target restriction all about?
Why should new target system effect the distance you place a stick in target from the firing line?

Also just been told that the existing (not upgraded) AMS (Automatic Marking System) on the other ranges is now out of bounds too.

Yes that is what I was told in December and that we should never have been using in the first place according to major Fox.

That information was passed on to the NRA at that time as well.

Maybe time to get the lube out guys, this does not sound good at all!

"Human shaped targets" now that is a pathetic bollox excuse if ever there was one. Damn funny shaped humans last time I shot at them.
