Anyone with even a slightly different view is clearly wrong ! ( even if they have facts and figures to prove it )
Feck, I had forgotten you have that thing now, is the no go zone still being enforced?

tackb, yeah I figured that mate

What do you use your bow for? We have a bow hunting season here which starts end of September and runs through until firearms season. I took a nice adult doe this year with mine and so didn't bother going out for the gun season. Didn't need anymore meat.

Yep but you have to rip the guts out of the cat yourself. Actually spud, I'll stick with my compound bows for now.

Blu, I'd love to hunt with my bow but its not allowed here in the uk

so once I get happy with my grouping i'll be off to a more sensible country to give it a try ! France is closest but I think they might be a bit funny about an English man turning up with a bow (we've got history with the French regarding that!) :flag5:

tackb, Nah I reckon you should be okay in France, just don't ask for directions to Agincourt and you should be fine. Back in October I had a very mangy dog coyote pass about twenty feet from my tree stand. My arrow passed straight through and bowled the critter over, he never knew what hit him. Also over here it is now legal to hunt with crossbows, it used to be only folks with a physical handicap or over I certain age could use them, now they are available to everyone to hunt, man I have to tell you there are some real powerful crossbows out there, they easily match and in some cases surpass the compound bows.
Anyway have fun with your bow and I hope you get to hunt with it real soon.
