Yardley describes himself as an "experimental psychologist"....

The theories of psychology certainly have something to say about those who engage in trophy/sport hunting.

And to think that he believes shooting little holes in paper targets with a rimfire AR indicates risk... He hasn't read much of the work by his "peers", that's obvious. You want yo read what they make of trophy hunting and the "glamorising" of that.... Yardley may very well be one step away from being the next Geoffry Dharma!

Yardley really doesn't have a clue, does he Sim? He's also for long-running threads the gift that keeps on giving, have we had any other threads run this long?

If you want a chuckle from the gift that keeps on giving have a look at his Positive shooting DVD! FYI he does actually have a Psychology degree, I wish he had stuck to that rather than promote his divisive anti shooting views...

Every time I hear him shout "Puuuuullll" in that nasal voice of his I laugh, he must be a barrel of laughs at the firing point as everybody waits around for him to do his target visualisation stuff:

For some reason this comes to mind:

KILL?????????????????????????? "KILL" a Clay...hit or burst surely. Don't hear many target shooters talk about "kill" or "kill zones"!

Do people really talk about KILLING a clay bird? Apart from a professional animal killer like him?

yes he must be one of these " Black gun " owners, fantasising about killing when he is target shooting , ooooooooooo!!!!
But I think in reality he is a pillock of the shooting community.
The same shooting community/ establishment , who turned a blind eye to self loading rifles being banned, because they were not " what we use". After all what is wrong with a bolt action or even single shot .303 ?
I do not hunt trophies, or for that matter kill several thousand animals and smile while they are laid out in pretty patterns but although it is easy to point out how odious this man is, where there is a sustainable herd and where it is ethically mandated for conservation, then I support that part of shooting. Having said that we all have to abhor american dentists......just for being american dentists if for no other reason.
When this man has sold us out until the only legal gun is a 12b U/O or side lock double, then he and his kind will demand a ban on cheap shotguns, anything not fitted for instance by H&H .
This man is an effete snob who should be shunned and disdained by the real shooting community. Someone recently asked me "what is Mike Yardley good for", and I did not know a good answer for that !!

"Nothing" seems apt...he's more to be scorned than pitied I reckon

He is very good for dividing the shooting community.

*edit*

Obviously not good for us, but definitely for those who wish to see us banned from our hobbies.
