I was looking at .22LR's a while ago and spoke to SGC, explained that I was new to shooting and wanted advise but unfortunately didn't get much beyond! it's all on the website" and he hung up.

Oh Dear.
Seems Bob strikes again eh !
Though looking at your list of things that go bang, not that new either. Lol
I have never seen one of the .22s but they, like a lot of others seem very over the top in price.

It was quite a while ago :)
To be honest I am glad I only purchased the 10/22 for my first firearm (but then spent many times the cost of the original purchase customising it!).
Now I am more interested in centre fire and 200m+: I competed in my first McQueens comp a week ago (at Diggle) and it's now my favourite comp: also done F class out to 800m with the AI AT.
