I believe the Hague Convention relates to military use and "policing" use is exempt.

There was a report of Israeli snipers being issued soft point ammo under the claim that they were engaged in a policing operation.




I wouldent pay much attention to that, the yanks flout the Geneva convention when it suits them....They used napalm Iin Vietnam and the first gulf war (so i'm told)....besides that's a whole not her thread really.....
