Ah well now that all depends on which string you use, the thick stuff or the hairy stuff, package string or butchers string. Then there's the wood to consider. It's just never ending

Yeah but look at how much time you spend faffing around with it, waxing it, cutting it to the correct length to make sure there isn't a bit hanging off at the ends of the bow when good old butchers string will do just as well. Jeez.
