Fair enough Christel but I will say that of late the moderation on here has become pretty anal and autocratic.

Frankly there is no other way to run a forum than the way it is done here, we have 5 years of experience and trust me, any other way and it would be chaotic.

It worked perfectly well before the moderation we are seeing now. Hey look I could understand it if the thread was getting out of hand and insults were being traded among members, but that wasn't the case. It's getting so that folks can't even have a bit of banter without Dromia sticking his oar in and deleting posts, I respect that you will back your moderator up but the thing is he isn't all right.

Speaking for myself only I believe the Moderation has become a little heavy handed at times and is something that should be debated and not just dismissed the way it was earlier this afternoon. My way or the highway is not impartial moderating.

I agree with the mods, that thread wanted moving somewhere private.

I saw nothing that needed to be private or in need of censorship. Same with the identical post I put up. Moderation on here has become draconian & will just put people off.

Why do feel that it needed to be moved to somewhere private? Did you find it offensive in some way? Like it or not, if the UK stays in the EU there is every chance it could have a very big impact on the sport and that is something that perhaps should be in open debate for all the forum members to see instead of hiding it out of sight in GOM which some members (yourself included unless you've changed your mind) choose not to subscribe to.

I'm curious why do you think it needs to be moved some were private. We are probably about to make one of the biggest decisions in any of our life time and you think debating it should be moved some were private.

As to the thread being moved I was reading the comments with interest. But this is not the first time a thread as been moved or deleted. I have had several of mine moved in the past. Unfortunately like it or not the moderators have the last call. If you choose to use the forum like it or not you just have to accept the moderators decisions nothing you can do about it.

wonder if there's a correlation between in/out and private/public?

Nah Dave I don't have to accept anything mate, especially when I'm being fed bullshit and we have a very strong case of that on here lately from the moderator.
