My dealers just heard tnt carry charges are expected to be around £50,under this new way of doing things....so if a dealer charges their fee on top that could be £100+to rfd stuff.

Stuff that,if I can't drive their or meet em half way I won't bother....

Always been an argument of mine. I'm of the opinion that there is a large percentage of the "gun trade" have actually been hammering nails into the coffin of the trade for some years now, with regards to their "fees"...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

it is certainly not all RFD's however I can think of some who seem to be quite happy to charge excessively for RFD transactions.

Oh I certainly know that! My local place will charge 25 quid for outbound shipping out and a Tenner to put it on your ticket if it's posted in. Heard horror stories of up to £50 bring charged either way! The amount of deals that must have gone South because of potentially another 100 quid added to the cost! No wonder there's no cheap bargain guns about....
