Sorry I thought that you worked for the NRA.

We have been told in no uncertain terms on here to leave this to the NRA which is what we have been doing.

It is obviously an issue local to the Catterick ranges from the intelligence gleaned previously, I still think that the NRA should pursue this on the behalf of those affiliated clubs who use the Catterick complex as that is just the sort of support the clubs pay their NRA fees for and also a single approach is far more likely to get a better response than clubs trying to negotiate singly.

Quite possibly which is why I have avoided contacting Catterick as I don't shoot there. All my research and intelligence gathering as been to try and determine if there is any DIO wide policy, which, currently it appears there isn't.

If it's just a local issue the title of this now very long thread is misleading.

It has indeed taken a lot of time and posts to become slightly the wiser on this issue.

I spoke to our club chairman and this is most definately a local issue from his investigations with all involved. This was two weeks ago now so I don't know if there's been any update on catterick ranges since then. Is anybody any wiser on the subject currently?
