I have a 88. It started life as a 1890 Danzig.
I assembled this rifle from parts and pieces gathered up over about a month.
Nothing on it matches, NOTHING!.
It is a .318 bore.
It shoots farily well for me using a 180g .323 gas checked cast bullet over 19g of 2400.
It is not too bad for a total of $85 invested. Now to find a cleaning rod for it.
I may just make one as it will be cheaper.
