First place I owned had underfloor electric central heating which was so expensive to run it was never turned on, the water tank was also electric so I used to turn it on for a small bath on a Sunday and then use what warmish water was left over on the following Wednesday apart from that I used cold water to wash with and it is only these last few years I have actually got out of the habit of washing with cold water in the mornings and evenings. I must be getting soft.
