Why not put police in parliament as well ! The police are there to enforce the law not make or petition for new laws ! After signing the pitation it might also good to email your local mp about this clause !
Does each section have to be approved by call me dave before it goes before parliament?

this is what i emailed to my local MP
Clause 81 of the police and crime bill
I draw your attention
to the police and crime bill, I find section 81 (1) a great cause for concern it basically states that
The police and only the police the right to be consulted by the home secretary when making amendments to the home office guide on firearms law. This is quite wrong and all areas of firearms law / guide must have a balanced consultation arrangement between all parties that would be concerned and or affected by any changes to the home office guide on firearms law. This is the only democratic and balanced way amendments to this or any law should be conducted.
Furthermore by consulting the shooting community we can work together to frame effective laws / home office guidance and not just make 'feel good' guidance / laws that do nothing for public safety except place unnecessary restrictions on law abiding gun owners.
Best regards

If you do any correspondence with an MP, make sure it's written and physically sent as they are legally obliged to respond to a written letter but not an email.

What really pi$$es me off is that Continuity ACPO still cow-tow to this shameless harlot, all the while she destroys the Office of Constable and rubbishes those who serve.
I've served under 10 Home Secretaries, non of them have left the Home Office in a better condition as they took the dept over and now, unless I google the list, the vast majority I cannot even remember who they were.....
Charlatans, every last man jack and doris!
