Depends what you mean by another European country. There is a country in the UK that requires a FAC for air rifles, Northern Ireland. And they have no problems enforcing it, neither would Scotland if they wanted to.

It is a problem when you have 100s of thousands that need licensing. Dear god, they must want to allow real criminals to walk.

Don't see the SNP introducing an Obesity Tax, or tripling VAT rates on anything cooked in batter, providing subsidies on fresh fruit & veg., or making illegal drug use more illegal...why would they punish their key voters??

Unfortunately, speaking as a Scot, I can confirm that this is indeed the SNP's main voter base: They draw much support from frequent users of illegal drugs.
