I will put a £50 note at 1600 yds and you get 5 rds to hit it with a 308 parker hale , hit it you keep it, miss it and you take a half page spread in one of the shooting publications stating you are a male cow excrementer with a picture of you for everyone to see?
Not much of an incentive, if they do hit it, it'll be worthless!!
I must admit thats topped the best 'sniper story' i;ve heard on a forum. Mine was on pigeon watch and it was a 304 yard head shot on a rabbit with a factory .17HMR

Put a different way, it is a 2.5" ish group at 1000 yards which I have a feeling is better than the current UKBR 1000 yard record shot with a custom rifle off a machine rest. Not even the DSR claims to be that accurate! clapclap
You think tumbling subs would hit it then Dave?
It a parker hale for christ sakes, not a bloody AI, open or TR F class, or an Iraqi supergun.
Invite them to do it at Stickledown, I would still be impressed at 1000 and I shoot F/TR too.
Why dyou think I only look at the reloading section these days emrolleyes

It does sound made up, reminds me of the "mall ninja" thread that was going around a few years ago. The link is below If anyone fancies a bit of a laugh at the expense of a deluded Walt trying to bull***t a shooting forum.
