Exceptionally fine pieces of kit those Girauds, toyed with the idea of springing for one a few years ago but being a multicalibre person I never really trim enough cases of one calibre to justify it.

Believe me I did try. :D

However my Star luber gathering dust somewhere was a warning.

I use another hand held tool for clearing out the much from the primer hole, its not paricularly good at the job so was wondering what better tools/ways there are for doing it. I have a tool that keeps the flash hole clean/clear which seems to work fine.
The Lyman electric trimmer has a steel brush attachment that rotates with the cutter and you clean your primer pockets with this in a second. This is a niffty tool for me as I find twisting cases and turning handles difficult with me arthritic hands.

Getting old is s***!

Aye the reason its s*** is because its preparing you for your own funeral.

Still so long as you are alive thats all that you need, after that its up to yourself.

Just buy the Giraud, lifes too short for trimming cases.

Toby..

I'm guessing that when you say primer hole you are referring to the primer pocket. Once again I'm guessing that the tool you are using looks like this...
Similar but alot cheaper made!

Alot of people seem to have drill attachments which I have to admit would be nice and save time.

Think $425 plus P&P etc may be a little over my budget, especially with the volumes I shoot!! Nice bit of kit though.
