From 08.30 this morning, a pleasant 2 hrs on Century at 600yds with the Swing (on a bipod), and a diamond marker............... then the sky opened, and a further 30 mins not so pleasant with the rain running down my neck.
Then to the Clays for a bacon and egg bap and a mug of tea.......................

Fitted an Advantage Arms .22LR conversion to a Glock 23 (.40cal).....fed it Mini Mag Solids and HP's asrecommended by the manufacturer, shot 200 rounds without a hiccup.......all for $15.00 of ammo.
Still got
Hope to obtain some 15 round mags before I go.
Kit is a straight swap, comes with barrel, slide (with sights) and a 10 round mag and a wee cleaning kit.
Lack of time now stops we doing a 9mm conversion on the same gun....
Also today we were in the desert so the Sig 229's got an outing, shot some Winchester Lawman 135grn JHP's (.40cal) they hit just as hard as the 180 grain round nose...
That wee .22 conversion is the BIZ..Glock should sell a .22 UK legal job same as Buckmark....
Some of the lads shot a ton of Russian ammo (Brown Bear/ Silver Bear) from various .308 semi autos.......not a hiccup but one heck of a muzzle flash even in the desert sun..

Over the past two days I cleaned six centre fire rifles, one rimfire rifle and one shotgun that I shot during the week. Probably going to dirty some other rifles and pistols over the weekend. tongueout

So, you have a Glock with a conversion kit?
So, you have shot it until it needs cleaning?
So, you broke it?
Do not, I repeat not, expect any sympathy from people who are no longer allowed to do any of the above.
I hope you fix it 'though.

Its only a glock. Toss it in the bin and get another.
After seeing two glocks explode in the same week, shooting fresh factory ammo, I wont get near one.
They are dangerous! One is a accident, two means something is wrong with them.

I had an enjoyable day on Melville - just a club shoot with a dozen mates but I did spend some time shooting my .36 LePage duelling pistol, just a ghost of happier days but fun none the less.
