Does anyone have a link where he has a go at practical/action shooting? I know of a couple of people including a BSSC rep that would be most interested O:-)

Going on to the subject of action disciplines in the UK, I think, frankly, they may give the wrong impression and pander to fantasy.
Targets will fall when hit ... in your own time ... bangbang

Thanks. I've now emailed Gun Mart to see if he still works for them and i'll be posting on the UKPSA forum to see if any of the committee wish to speak with him

I emailed Pat last week. He hasn't used Yardley for a year or so and he's as surprised and annoyed at what he's up to. I think there's only one or two mags that occasionally use him now and we need to contact them.

Yep just literally got this from Pat;

"Hi Mark

No, Mike hasn’t written for us - by mutual consent - for almost a year now. He does still contribute to other UK publications, but none of them are ours.

All the best,

Pat Farey
GunMart"

My Gunmart subscription hangs in the balance!

How can they justify in the future in giving him print space when they purport to support all of the shooting disciplines?

As long as he doesn't contribute, but I am sure I have seen him in a recent edition?

I would suggest you cancel and subscribe to the following, you'll get a much more informed editorial and impartial reviews not based on how much advertising space has been bought :)

https://www.beano.com/subscribe/

And you get a free A5 personalised note book as well :D

So what collection of loo roll does he still write for and I'm guessing after this current spat his chances of gunmart ever employing again went from nil to snow flakes chance in hell (my money is on the snow flake having a better chance).

Shooting Gazette, The Field magazine and maybe HALALI - Jagd, Natur & Lebensart Magazine, judging by that they're the only magazines in his page likes.
