It wouldn't be any different to any other rifle with an integral moderator - the length of moderator would be considered the length of the barrel.

Do tell Dave :good:

Some of us may like to use them for our own shooting with classic rifles

We're not as skilled as you - being able to re-use your targets indefinitely as they've got no holes in them at the end of your shoots ;)

Always fancied the .22 FN DeLisle more than the 45 one

Had a Welrod for a time - was NOT impressed with it

Interestingly enough I was shooting my .45 Armalon Enfield yesterday at Catterick.

I like the the look of the miniature methuen targets, are they available to buy ?

Thanks for the report and pictures.

Joe
Hi Joe

The club supplies the targets , a chap by the name of Dave Clark put the targets together and got them printed , he wrote a book on the subject http://www.rifleman.org.uk/British_targets.htm You can find the competition details on the rifleman web sight under HESA .
I have fancied one of those armalon Enfields .

Dave

Hope thats OK .

Dave

Thanks Dave I know the book and course of fire, just fancied the coloured ones for my club as I've been using B&W photocopies to date.

mmmhh - delisle - nice rifle...got a spare .45 slot on my ticket with a view to getting one...just not so keen on spending £2k at the mo :o

I do have a copy of the original sterling schematics if anyone is interested - but they are A0, so will take a while to scan in at my end...so watch this space!

i was chatting to Chris @ C&G about them, as he makes repros with 12" barrels i believe to get around the section 5 issues... all made from original enfield bits apparently, but with LW barrel.
