I have a Nikon 3-9X on mine and it fine. Nice scope and it didn't cost much at all compared to the upper end stuff.

Hi rufrdr,
that's a unique setup on your K31 with the cheek piece. Any chance you could post more pictures of the rifle in profile?

Indeedy: nice bang stick ! I've often wondered if it's possible to put a thumbhole stock on a K31 - no doubt one of you clever oomans will know...

Well you could always take the plunge, buy a set of Viper Skins for an AICS/AI and then build your own chassis, it is a straightforward enough job using a current AI/AICS chassis, the only problem is you would have a redundant notch for a bolt on the right hand side plus the magazine well would need some thought.

It would be a fun project though, the material would cost under thirty quid so add some machine time, a friendly Tig welder and the skins and job done. :goodjob:

Know any Tig welders? If so I have an a couple of AI chassis that I can measure and put down on paper.

Hmmm, I was thinking a nice wooden stock would be more in keeping...

...though having said that, a K31 in an AICS might be a good project, though I doubt it would fall into the 'cheap' category.

I have got a Redfield 4X (widefield), all I need now is a side mount.
