My boolit of choice is the Lyman 323378 220g over 17.5g of Alliant 2400 giving around 1,400fps in my rifle.

Beautiful! I find these mannlicher stocked carbines irresistable. Wish I could find one around here. They go for substantially more than the rifle version.

Hi,re Gew 88s,picked up a gew 88 S last year,its a Danzig 1890 dated, matching nos on rifle,
mismatched bolt.The receiver has been blued,bolt in the white,but the bore was beyond help,
luckily I had Walther barrel in 323,so had it rebarrelled.Oh yes forgot to say,I dont think it it
has ever had a cover with spring to eject the clip put on it.
So,what do I feed it?

Any .325" boolit over 200 gns should work in your .323" barrel.
