I don't see any practical reason why not...only cost - Can you immagine having the dosh to do your own 'grand design'...have an attached wing with range, armoury, loading and cleaning area...
Is it something you're considering...?

Steve I think you may want to add the letter t to your reply? Shouldn't it read "

Also things have changed regarding approval. There is no reason why you can't build a range in your house as long as you comply with and seek the necessary building regs application but being allowed to use it may be another matter. Some years ago I enquired about building a 25m tube range in my garden. The police would not grant the necessary condition on my certificate for me to use it. They first of all wrote to my neighbours to see if they would object to the construction but failed there as there were no objections. A meeting with the Deputy Chief Constable failed to sway them and in the end I let it drop because the delay would prevent me from carrying on with other building works in progress at that time.

Contact Chris Webb as he does range construction but you would need to think of wall & roof construction, wall thickness, baffles, extractor, lighting, access etc. Then you would have to think about bar facilities, food and accommodation for all your new found friends to come & shoot there.

Thanks for offering Chris's services Heather, sadly this is in another country so a different set of regulations and like here I doubt the local bobbies would be too happy about a range in the roof of a barn.

Fenland used to have an indoor range Dave so its not out of reach.
