Could you fit a .22LR range in this?

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

The long bit down the middle is a tad over 30m long, I do wonder what it would take to stick a couple of lanes for .22LR down the length of it O:-)

Theoretically, provided no rounds can leave the range it could be as short or long as you like! Would just need to be approved.

Ventilation is usually he main issue with building an indoor range, proper extraction to remove he lead dust that is generated shooting lead .22lr bullets.

So plinking with a moderated S/A up against a pile of sandbags with subs in an 'informal' manner once in a while would be frowned upon?

Hmm... I know the answer to that one.

Pipe range ?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

The first.22r I shot was a .22 SLR in the back of a 7.5 ton truck (will stand corrected) at Bassingbourn, Looks like you have room to spare to me,

I do like the 100m range at Bassingbourne, very nicely laid out however it can get a tad gusty....
