I would,BUT, I don't know who the new owner is to be,at the moment relying on the present owner to let him know that i'm about,so to speak.

Here's an update to my permission. :good:
Good news, the new owners have no objections to me carrying out pest control on the land.
They are a middle aged couple who live in London somewhere near the Barbican(where-ever that is?) and wanted a bolt hole for week-ends and holidays away from it all,the lady is quite severely disabled, and they will have a track cleared and laid to hardcore into the woods so they can get the motorhome in.
Also, they will be copesing the woods for the valuable sweet chestnut wood that is there,i'm led to believe that it will be two or three acres at a time, hopefully that will make it easier for the pigeons to be seen and taken care of.
They are 'treehuggers',but when it was explained that the squirrels had to be controlled (NOT eradicated)they were quite understanding.
So, a big sigh of relief, and to celebrate i'm supping a JD (large  )

As a further update, I spoke with the new owner of the land yesterday, and i'm to meet up with him on Thursday lunch time in the local pub,and then on to the land as he wants me to show him around, and any suggestions. He has also said that I can shoot anytime I want, but,he will let me know when he and his wife will be 'in residence'.
I was going this morning,BUT,it's -1 degrees and snowing,brrrr.
